Making and receiving calls with Teams
Microsoft has put together some guides on how to use the Call feature in Teams that we have linked to below:
RECEIVING A CALL
When a call comes into you, this is what it will look like. Simply click the purple phone and it will answer the call.
This will pop up on your computer when you are in a call
Here you can see who is participating in the call as well as invite others to join the call
More options are sitting under the 3 horizontal dots. Here you can put the call on hold, transfer the call, Consult then transfer which is the same as our warm transfer now, and you also have the ability to turn on live captions.
When you want to transfer the call to another person simply click transfer. You will have a list of suggested users or you can search for someone. You also have the ability for the call to come back to you if no one answers on the transfer.
Once you have chosen who to transfer to you will get the transfer button to light up and you can then click that to transfer the call.
All Call options will be under the phone button labeled calls on the left-hand side. From here you can dial a number, call a favorite from speed dial, add to your speed dial, create new groups, see your contacts, call history, and check your voicemail.
To create a new group, click the new group button and choose a name for the new group and click create.
You can then click the 3 horizontal dots next to the group to add members to that group
Search for a contact to add and add them
The new users is now added to the new group we have created.
You also can dial from the dial-pad. Once you have put in the number you would like to call hit the call button to place your call.

List of contacts
To add a new contact just click add contact and search for whom you want to add and click add
To call someone within the company it is the same as starting a chat with that person. You will search for that person in teams and in the upper right-hand side of the screen you can video chat, call, or share screens with that person.
