Common images for Internet Connectivity issues.
Check Physical Connections
- Check all physical connections on the modem and router to make sure the cables are secure and connected properly.
- Power Cable (Connected to power strip or wall receptacle)
- Ethernet Cable (Connects to Computer and modem/router)
Restart Equipment
- If all physical connections are connected securely and correctly then the next step is to restart the equipment
- Computer
- Start by restarting the computer. If the connection problem is resolved then do not move on to the next step.
- Router/Modem
- Unplug the modem/route from the power for 60 seconds.
- After 60 seconds plug the equipment back in.
