Encrypting Email

We have 3 ways to encrypt emails in outlook – if you are working in your desktop app outlook, and if you are working out of webmail. Please see below.

1)   In the desktop outlook, you open a new email as usual – then click on Options in the top ribbon – then click on the Encrypt button.

2)   If you are working in webmail – you’ll open a new email – click on the 3 dots for more options in the top ribbon, then select Encrypt from the drop down, and Encrypt again from the pop out to the right.

3)   This will work for Desktop or Webmail – Include these words and symbols in your subject line –

  1. (without the quotes) 'encrypt#' or 'safe#' or '[encrypt]' or '[secure]'
