Syncing SharePoint and OneDrive
Note: Microsoft has extensive training guides and videos on how to do things across all their apps here.
SharePoint
- Sign in to your Priority’s SharePoint site with your work account – Click Here.
- Open the library or folder you want to sync.
Select the Sync button.
Notes:
-
In Classic SharePoint, the Sync button is here:- If you don’t see a Sync button, select the Library tab on the ribbon and then select Sync in the Connect & Export group.
- At the prompt, click Sync Now to start the sync app wizard. The wizard automatically fills in the name and web address of the library.
- Select Sync Now in the wizard to start syncing.
You can click Show my files… in the wizard to open the synced library in File Explorer.
The folder is listed under Favorites, in the SharePoint folder or under the Priority Title & Escrow folder with the building icon next to it.
OneDrive
Syncing the SharePoint should have automatically added the OneDrive folder which is your personal work folder on the cloud. Documents should be saved there instead of on your computer as it saves space and it allows for access across devices.
